Obama starts to reform the health insurance system

U.S. President Barack Obama consultations to achieve one of the main promises during his election campaign, which is to reform the health insurance system in the United States.

And more than 120 experts in the health services sector, including lawyers, doctors and experts in insurance, in an expanded meeting in the presence of Obama White House to discuss the best ways to develop this sector.

An estimated 50 million Americans lack health insurance and provide them with treatment at a low price, even though the United States spends about 2.5 trillion dollars annually on health care.

Obama said in front of the participants in the meeting that all the topics open for discussion, and all the alternatives available.

Obama said there is no question that all Americans should have a decent medical care and affordable, but the debate over how to achieve this.

Obama said that investment in medical services is no longer just a moral responsibility, but also an economic necessity to create more jobs.
The failure of earlier

The previous efforts to reform the medical insurance system in the United States, failed because of the huge cost of providing such service to tens of millions of Americans who lack it.

And tried to former U.S. President Bill Clinton's introduction of a new medical insurance system, but strong objections from the pharmaceutical companies that eventually led to the lack of application.

But Obama said that "the situation is different this time .. the call for reform are coming from all sectors: from doctors and patients, and trade unions, companies, hospitals and health insurance companies."

A poll conducted by "Harris" about the U.S. 80% of Americans believe that the system of medical services in the country need to change the destruction.

Obama and pledged to allocate an amount of 634 billion dollars to pay for better health care system during the next ten years.
